Director and College Counselor

Ralph Becker, the counselor, has over 19 years experience coaching students on applications and guiding them in selecting and designing their optimal college path.

College plans are tailored to the individual needs of students.

Mr. Becker has helped hundreds of students with their college essays, major selections, and contest entries- such as submitting to the Concord Review. Over the years Ivy College Prep, LLC has created a copyrighted vocabulary program, along with hundreds of articles on virtually all aspects of the admissions process. Our Services

During the crucial sophomore and junior years of high school, we offer monthly one-hour sessions where we delve into your academic progress, extracurricular activities, and personal interests. After each session, we provide detailed reports to both you and your parents or guardians, offering clear direction and actionable steps for the future.

As you enter the summer after junior year, we ramp up our support with weekly one-hour meetings. This intensive focus allows us to make significant progress on completing your college essays early and effectively. We work closely with you on up to 9 colleges, providing the critical mass needed to write compelling essays and applications.

Uncovering Opportunities

Beyond traditional counseling, we pride ourselves on our ability to uncover opportunities that you may not have considered, such as the MMSS major at Northwestern, or the College of Creative Studies program at UC Santa Barbara, or Sports Analytics BS at Syracuse University. From exploring niche programs to discovering hidden gems, our goal is to broaden your horizons and maximize your college options.
